Panel Discussion with Children’s Ministry Leaders

This panel discussion will provide an opportunity to share ideas for recruiting, screening, placing, caring for, encouraging, and leading volunteers as they serve in children and family ministries in the local church. Panel leaders represent a variety of churches in the region:

Wendy has spent seven years working with City Kidz Ottawa, ministering to children in low income areas.  The understanding she has gained first hand from her experience enables her to share with you about the poverty effect, the different types of poverty and how to approach people living in these situations.
